Restaurant
Seats 45, Low beamed ceilings, open log fires in winter, separate terrace
'Room' seating 20. Large parties catered for.
Monthly Menu items 'roll' with the seasons and are priced at very
affordable levels. Regular 'Special Menu' evenings , for example,
New Year's Eve, Burns' Supper, St. Valentine's Night, and St.
George's Day are very popular.
Village Bar
A feature of the bar is the collection of miniatures, over 1100 so
far-additions are always welcome. The bar snack menu offers a range of satisfying meals and snacks and the restaurant menus are also available in the bar. |
The Fox supports Crib teams in the
local league. A good selection of Real Ales and Lagers are on offer,
including - Ringwood Best, Brakspear Bitter Adnams Broadside,
Guinness, Fosters, Kronenbourg, Stella Artois, Strongbow Cider, Jugs
of Pimms & Bloody Mary's. A separate 'Wine Bar' offers a
comprehensive selection of bottled wines by the Glass. The FOX also
stocks an interesting range of Malt Whisky.
The Garden
The FOX garden is divided
into three areas, with one set out as a children's 'adventure'
play area. All meals can be served in the garden, when the weather
permits
The FOX also has a large vegetable and herb garden which is used
to grow produce for use in the kitchen.
A major feature of The FOX garden are the flower beds and hanging
baskets, well worth a visit. |
